Computers have become an indispensable thing for people and nowadays it’s impossible to imagine our life without these devices. They help us almost in every field such as medicine, education and so on. A lot of professions are replaced by computers. It is believed that people will be taught just by a computer without real teachers in the future.

I disagree with this opinion. I think a teacher is a very important profession that shouldn’t be replaced. First of all, a computer is a soulless machine. Of course, it gives people a lot of information but it can’t teach them to think. Secondly, teachers help children and teenagers to get communication skills, which are necessary in adult life. Unfortunately, a computer isn’t able to become a good conversationalist for a person. Above all, real teachers give us not only science knowledge, but also life lessons. Technical devices can't influence people’s behaviour and teach them to be friendly and self-confident.

Nevertheless there is an opposite opinion that computers should be completely introduced in education acting as pedagogues. Some people guess that it will speed up learning process, because a machine can work with information and find our mistakes very quickly. Moreover, computers provide access to different sources of knowledge.

However, I think that only teachers can do some kinds of work. For example, a computer cannot check our thoughts and ideas in essays.

In conclusion I want to say that although computer technology is developing very fast, machines shouldn't replace any professions.
